In this sideboard, the marble “embroidery” wraps around the doors and to the sides. With this graphic device, the piece is no longer read simply through classical orthogonal projections, but instead encourages the gaze to perceive the three-dimensionality of the sideboard. The black chromed brass base heightens the luminous dimension of the whole.
